Steering & Guidance
Assisted steering and auto guidance are at the heart of the precision farming approach. Your ability to improve accuracy at planting, fertilizing, spraying, swathing and bailing will help you maximize the potential of your yield.
Your New Holland dealer has the steering and guidance components you need for your New Holland fleet or mixed fleet to help you run your equipment, and your overall operation, more efficiently. They also have answers to any questions you may have about implementing these technologies in your fleet. Let's dive into the components and setups necessary to achieve your precision farming goals.
Electric or Hydraulic Setup
An electric setup is the choice if your machines don't have hydraulic hookups. It's a less expensive option and easier to install. If your machines have hydraulic hookups, then the hydraulic option will be your setup of choice.
New Holland offers both electric and hydraulic setups that are straightforward and intuitive to use. We also carry a line of Raven steering and auto guidance options that are scalable for those who run a mixed fleet. Below are some of these setup options for you to consider.
Assisted steering and guidance setups consist of three components:
- Display
- Receiver
- Steering Kit

Here are example combinations of electric and hydraulic setups that work together. They're categorized into two levels of functionality and accuracy.
