PUMPS

A pump is the heart of a hydraulic system — and the heart is no place to cut corners. Our hydraulic pumps are designed and selected to assure the best performance of the hydraulic circuit. They integrate perfectly with your machine's specifications, run at higher working pressures to reduce the risk of contamination and deliver guaranteed reliability in the field. Stay productive, and enjoy peace of mind, with pumps from CNH Industrial.

The Basics

A hydraulic pump is a mechanical device that converts mechanical energy into hydraulic energy (flow and pressure). Hydraulic pumps use hydraulic fluid dynamics to perform a variety of functions, such as:

● Lifting and lowering parts (cutterbars, buckets, forks)

● Operating steering and braking systems

● Operating hydraulic transmissions (with hydraulic motors)

The mechanical energy drives the hydraulic pump to draw the oil from the tank. The flow of oil is transferred to all hydraulic receivers, such as cylinders and motors, using the distributor switching function. The waste oil collected is filtered and can be reinjected into the hydraulic circuit.

An Ounce of Prevention

The simplest way to prolong your pump’s service life, while promoting better performance and fuel consumption, is to change hydraulic fluid and filters regularly according to recommended service intervals. Take care to use hydraulic fluid with an appropriate viscosity grade, and always prefer fluid and filters recommended for your equipment.

Choose Wisely

When your pump dies, so does the rest of your hydraulic system. Keep your system running with hydraulic pumps from CNH Industrial.
